What We Fund

What We Don't Fund

The Trust primarily provides capital funding.  We do not accept unsolicited applications for any of the following:

  • Personal sports equipment and clothing (e.g. bats, balls, gloves)
  • Living quarters for grounds staff or club employees
  • Projects intended primarily for private gain
  • Projects that contribute direct to a company’s distributable profits
  • Funds to build up reserves or surplus and loan repayments
  • Retrospective payments—we will not reimburse costs already incurred
  • Activities that promote religious beliefs
  • If your project is applying for a school or educational establishment, it should ensure it opens opportunities for the community as we will not fund projects used solely for delivering curriculum activity
  • Support for individuals, including student grants or bursaries
  • General and round-robin appeals
  • Campaigns
  • One-off events, such as conferences, trips, seminars, masterclasses, summer schools, single commissions, productions or festivals
